Ancasta predicts 50% turnover rise
01 Nov 2007
The company, which had its strongest start to a Southampton Boat Show in more than 10 years, signed seven contracts for new boats in just four days.
Managing director Nick Griffith predicted the new Sealine South Coast operation, a series of three new outlets with a flagship sales centre on the Hamble for which planning permission has been applied for, will double new boat sales.
Currently 600 used boats and 200 new boats are sold through Ancasta’s offices each year.
The Ancasta Group, which includes Ancasta International Boat Sales, Hamble Yacht Services and Sealine South Coast, will see turnover jump from £23m to a predicted £33m to £35m.
As well as the growth from the Sealine dealership, growth will also be at HYS at Universal Marina, which is to be developed to accommodate dry stacking.
