Plans for a new academy teaching boatbuilding, marine engineering and other marine skills to young people and adults were unveiled as part of the huge development plans which will transform the 36 acre Noss-on-Dart site beside the River Dart near Kingswear.

The developer aims to have a purpose-built academy, along with the rest of the project, completed by 2012.
