Essex Boatyards sells 34 boats worth £3m

SBS EXTRA: Essex Boatyards sold 34 boats worth in excess of £3m during the Southampton Boat Show. This news follows the company's record London Boat Show earlier this year, where the team sold 31 boats.
Barke: 'great customer response'
Essex Boatyards says it noticed increased popularity of the Arvor brand in particular, with a rise of 50% over the same quarter last year, and growing levels of interest and positive sales figures across its whole range of brands.
'We experienced a strong and steady flow of visitors to each of our stands during the show, as well as great customer response and interest in the entire range of boats we offer,' said MD James Barke.
