Free Scottish waters cruising guide
01 Nov 2007
SCOTLAND: Yachtsmen cruising in Scottish waters next year can look forward to Welcoming Anchorages, a new free guide to shore facilities, writes Mike Balmforth.
The guide will be launched on the Sail Scotland stand at the London Boat Show in January and will subsequently be available through Sail Scotland, marinas and chandlers, and through Visit Scotland information centres.
The 40 page A4 booklet will cover facilities in Scotland's most popular cruising areas: the Firth of Clyde and the West Coast north to Ardnamurchan and is being produced by Yachting Life, with the support of British Marine Federation Scotland and RYA Scotland.
Information will include a small diagram of each location and data about contacts, facilities and shore attractions. More details from info@yachtinglife.co.uk
