METS: Randy Repass, founder and current chairman of West Marine, Inc, the world’s largest retailer of boating supplies and accessories, is to give the Breakfast Briefing at METS this November.
Repass will use his address to outline West Marine’s impression of the state of the aftermarkets in the USA and Europe.
METS says in addition he may explore China’s impact on equipment manufacturers in traditional manufacturing countries, West Marine’s criteria for selection of new products and own-label goods and the continuing relevance of boat shows for the retail and aftermarket sectors in the age of the Internet
The METS 2007 Breakfast Briefing address is sponsored by Amsterdam RAI and the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) to signal the start of METS on Tuesday November 13 at Amsterdam RAI.
