The merger of the two companies makes Peters & May the world's largest independent logistics company specialising in yacht shipping.

With the combined expertise of the two companies, turnover of over $100m and customers on both sides of the Atlantic, Peters & May and AOS are well positioned for further growth, said a statement today.

This expansion of Peters & May in North America is a stepping stone in the company’s plans to respond to the needs of its customers wherever they are in the world and to provide a uniformly high quality of service through the P&M worldwide network of offices.

‘This is a key step in our strategy to build a global network,’ said Nigel Prescot, chairman of Peters & May. ‘We look forward to working with Ingo Wagschal and his team and tapping into his expertise for the benefit of all our customers.’
