Last month saw BA Peters go into administration, with 130 of its 180 employees being made redundant. These were mainly staff based in Chichester area although the company also has sales sites in Gosport and elsewhere.

The MEMSP programme offers a brokerage service in the Southampton, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport and Havant areas that links pre-redundant people with companies that have vacancies, setting up work placements and offering training to overcome skills deficits for the new role.

If you are an individual facing redundancy, a company facing the possibility of making workers redundant or a company looking to recruit new staff within the Manufacturing, Engineering or Marine industries, please call 02380 652562 or email Richard or Eileen at rransom@ibptraining.co.uk or eharris@ibptraining.co.uk to find out how the MEMS Partnership could help you.
