Trend completes new production facility

EAST COAST: Glazing systems company Trend Marine has just completed the expansion of its 14 acre production facility, writes Debbie Cowan.
The new building has been designed specifically for packing and distribution to give a reduced turnaround for regular clients, plus the reduction of lead-times for one-off products.
The 470sq m facility has been designed to offer more space for ‘off the shelf’ stock finished goods, as well as stock which has already been allocated for despatch. It will create a faster and more efficient pull down packing and despatch system.
‘Trend's expansion is driven by production and product innovations,’ said technical and sales director Robin Thatcher.
