Buoys can flash for longer

A new buoy light manufactured using LED technology and giving more light for less battery capacity has been launched by Baltic Lifejackets UK.
Buoy light can flash for 18 hours
The waterproof unit is operated with an automatic gravity switch, and the flashing light will work for 18 hours continuously. The two long life batteries have a five year life span.
The horseshoe buoy light is SOLAS/MED and CE approved: it has its own mounting clip and can be fitted to most standard industry buoy holders. The unit retails at approximately £24.05
