Deutsch UK works on connections

Yellowfin has been developing a marine VSD propulsion system with heightened efficiency, the ability to move a boat rapidly sideways without thrusters plus very light steering at low speed.
Deutsch UK has been working closely with Yellowfin to develop connection solutions that stand up to the harsh environment that powerboats can encounter.
Waterproof, corrosion proof and temperature resistant connectors are a necessity, so Deutsch developed a system made of a composite thermoplastic for both data and power lines. The connectors are rated up to UL94 Class V-O flammability and are E11 American Yacht and Boat Council and RoHS compliant.
