A Jersey first
01 Apr 2008
A variety of craft will be at the show, ranging from superyachts to family cruisers and dayboats.
Among the many craft making an appearance will be a brand new locally built 13m rigid inflatable boat, powered by four 300hp Suzuki outboards.
Also on display – raising the profile of the St Helier lifeboat appeal – will be the newly-restored Howard D, Jersey’s first motorized lifeboat: the show is hoping to raise £1.3m toward the fund.
The shows organisers - Jersey Harbours and Collins Stewart - promise to offer something for everyone. As well as boats in the water, the show will feature a number of landside exhibits, entertainment and displays along Albert Pier and the new North Quay.
