The guide covers the facilities a yachtsman might seek at over 60 locations between the Mull of Galloway and south Skye. Each location is illustrated by a small map, contact details, and a brief description of boating and shore facilities and attractions.
Welcome Anchorages provides information to assist in cruise planning, and it is complementary - not in competition with - existing sailing directions and pilots: it offers little or no navigational data.
It is published jointly by Clyde Marine Press and KAV Publications, and is available free from a wide range of marine trade outlets, marinas, chandlery shops, charter companies, and also direct from Yachting Life (01355 279088 / info@yachtinglife.co.uk)
