West Country brokers team up on listings

And it follows on from Quayside being approached by a brokerage in Croatia to advertise their listings. Quayside Marine, run by Phil Haste who spent 15 years skippering a topsail schooner, recently moved into new offices on Beacon Quay following on from demand for the services he offers.
'Teaming up with these other brokers is fantastic news and a real boost for my clients,' he said. 'It means I have many more listings to offer, providing a far greater choice. It really does now mean that if people are after a specific type of boat I’m sure I’ll be able to find it for them.'
Currently Haste has boats on his books ranging from 74ft to 17ft, laying in Spain, Croatia and the UK.
'I was approached by the Croatian company – NCP – asking if I was prepared to list their boats. I’ve now formed a relationship with the company and again, it adds to my listings - they’ve got a very wide choice, he added.
Mike Lucas said the decision makes sense for both companies – especially as they are both based in Torquay.
'The Mike Lucas Yachting specialised brokerage service for Sadler, Starlight and Moody yachts has been strengthened by our new association with Quayside Marine giving us a new blend of skills,' he said. 'I look forward to working with Phil.'
