100 exhibitors for 1st North Wales Boat Show.
14 Jul 2008
BOAT SHOW: Starting on Friday week, 25 July, the first North Wales Boat Show has now passed the magic 100 exhibitors, say organisers Ben and Claire Sutcliffe.
‘Three years ago when we launched the first South Wales Boat Show we felt that if it was to be considered a show worth while visiting and companies supporting, it should have at least 100 companies/products attending,’ said Ben Sutcliffe. And on Friday 11 July the Sutcliffes sent out a press release saying ‘the first North Wales Boat Show had cleared 100 exhibitors’.
The latest information has Tom McNally (remember him?) at the show with his latest craft in which he plans to set off after the show. This new craft is just 3ft 10in long and Mr McNally will be raising funds for the Cancer Research Campaign.
On the promotions front, the Radio advertisements start this week across all of North Wales and into Liverpool and Manchester with sponsorship from North Wales Water Sports.
The show also has the support of the British Marine Federation (BMF) and National Boat Shows (NBS) with John Goode promising to open this first show. Along with him will also be several MPs and Welsh Assembly members who have all kindly agreed to visit the opening day.
The Daily Post is sponsoring the show and will be running news and features on the show covering the whole of North Wales with coverage of many of the companies who are solely supporting our events.
And for the kids, Sponge Bob Square Pants will make a personal appearance on the Saturday and Sunday.
The North Wales Boat Show runs in Vaynol Hall, Vaynol Estate, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 4BP. More information from northwalesboatshow.co.uk
