NBS Williams appointed IFBSO president

PRESIDENT: Andrew Williams, managing director of National Boat Shows (NBS), has been appointed president of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO), taking over the position from Bengt Wallin of Goteborg.

Andrew Williams: 'gain a deeper understanding'

The appointment was made during the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) Congress in Barcelona last month at the same time as a new agreement of cooperation was forged between IFBSO and ICOMIA with the objective of developing and promoting the world’s best boat shows.

'The agreement allows two different organisations with different goals but much common ground to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s aims and needs and to cooperate more effectively for the benefit of show exhibitors and visitors,' explained Mr Williams.
