DISTRIBUTION: Boating Sports are now the official UK importer and dealer of the Open 5.00 and 5.70 keel boats from Phileas Boats.

While the boats are big enough for family cruising, they need only two people to sail them. The Open 5.00 is 16 feet, less than 600lbs has almost 500 sq ft of sail area downwind plus a retractable keel, all of which enables a fast pace.
Boating Sports says that the design also ensures that it will not capsize or sink.
The Open 5.70 is a little faster, though remaining easy and safe to sail. Both are supplied complete and ready for the water - retailing at £16,995 and £19,750 (inc VAT) respectively.
