Another 90 berths for Tarbert

SCOTLAND: The newly announced Crown Estate grant to Tarbert (Loch Fyne) Harbour has given the green light to the installation of another 90 pontoon berths, writes Mike Balmforth.

This is a substantial increase in the capacity of this popular Loch Fyne harbour.
In 2007, The Trustees of the Board of Tarbert Harbour Authority and The Crown Estate announced that together they would investigate the possibility of taking forward the development plans for the harbour by entering into a joint venture.
