CEASED TRADING: Shared ownership company Challenger Syndicateship Ltd ceased trading on Wednesday January 2. Attempts to contact the company since have failed, with voicemail on the company’s landline and a simple message on Rimmer’s mobile saying he is unavailable.

Planning boost for Leeds-Liverpool marina

INLAND WATERWAYS: Inland waterways: Plans for a £1m marina in the shadow of Pendle Hill have been approved by councillors in Lancashire and work on the 102-berth Reedley Marina in Pendle on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal is scheduled to start this month.
