Kilgore takes over New World Yacht Care

Originally set up in 1991 by former RN submariner Ian Watts, the company was initially based at McAllister’s Yard in Dumbarton before moving to its present premises at Rhu Marina in 1997.
New World Yacht Care is a fully authorised sales, installation, service and repair centre for many leading brands of onboard electrical systems, including: Raymarine, Brookes & Gatehouse, Garmin, Simrad, Yeoman, Tacktick, Icom, Lewmar/Whitlock, Eberspächer and Webasto.
Kilgore took over the business from Helensburgh’s Ronnie Sandeman, who was MD from 2000 until November 2007. Working alongside Kilgore is Neil Watson, who’s worked at the company for over 10 years.
