The hearing – estimated to require two or three days - has to take its place in the court session and BB understands it will commence on the first available date between March 12 and 14, 2008.

The first court hearing on the subject took place on November 6, 2007 at the High Court of Justice. This hearing was followed by a noisy creditors’ meeting in Arundel, West Sussex, that was attended by some angry boat owners.

The figures presented in the KPMG handled administration suggested the company crashed owing £1.5, although the figures published by the administrators were based on estimates provided by the Peters directors and the final figures won’t be known for some time yet.

Brian Peters feels strongly there should be a surplus once all the funds are accounted for. He assured BB his Spanish businesses had been closed and the proceeds put into the pot to repay the creditors.
