Quantum leap

SCOTLAND: Andrew Malcolm Yachting, a sailmaking and yacht services company based in West Kilbride, Ayrshire, has announced its partnership with Quantum Sails GBR, writes Mike Balmforth.
AM Yachting has a full sail service facility and enjoys a close working relationship with both of the UK based Quantum lofts.
‘It’s great to be part of a dynamic and forward thinking company,’ says Andy Malcolm. ‘Joining Quantum is an exciting time for me. Malcolm started his own sailmaking company in 1993 and was more recently manager of North Sails in Scotland before diversifying in 2007 to form AM Yachting.
The company provides general yacht services in addition to the sailmaking services that he now offers as Quantum GBR’s agent on the west coast of Scotland.
