Join us at BB’s 25th Anniversary Party

ANNIVERSARY: It was early 1983 that Boating Business was launched in its current form by the then Thrusting Publisher Hall and Editor Nash.

That seems a good enough reason to have a bit of a party, so come and join us for a bite to eat and a few drinks at Seawork.

Entrance is free – simply register at the front entrance – and come and join us for our Iveco-sponsored barbeque on the quayside from 18.00 on Wednesday 11 June.

Hopefully there will be a lot of BB’s past and present friends and contributors along for a drink and chat. We did invite Portsmouth Poll, but we’re not sure if she’ll make it; something about a block booking for one of the Seawork exhibitors on that day, which is a pity.

But Lorraine Curtis and Peter Nash will definitely be there, so come along and see us. And if you can’t make it at that time, you’re always welcome on our stand 235 at any time. We’ll have some birthday cake and champagne ready for you…

Seawork runs on the 10th, 11th and 12th of June at the Canary Island Fruit Terminal in the ABP Port of Southampton. More than 6,000 members of the marine industry are expected to visit the show over the three days.

New for 2008, and joining the established DiveWork, Fluid Power, and Ship Repair Pavilions, will be the Marine Civils Pavilion supported by the Institution of Civil Engineers and media partner New Civil Engineer magazine. With names such as Costain Marine, Carillion Marine and Moffatt & Nichol in attendance, this new feature gives focus to a sector that provides the centre of gravity for much else at Seawork.

You can see the full exhibitor list here Contact the Seawork 2008 team at info@seawork.com or by phone 44(0)1329 820485

We look forward to seeing you at the BB Barbeque, or in Seawork at the Canary Islands Fruit Terminal, ABP Port of Southampton, SO15 1HJ.
