In the meantime, administrators at Begbies Traynor say they are in the process of arranging for whatever funds that were contained within the respective syndicate bank accounts to be returned to relevant syndicate members.

All syndicate members were advised by the administrators, by formal letter, to confirm where they wish these funds to be directed - whether it be to their own personal bank accounts or, indeed, to another management syndicateship.

If syndicate members have not yet instructed Begbies Traynor of their intentions they are advised to do so as soon as possible.

When asked if the firm could confirm or deny the allegations that the Rimmers have fled the UK, Begbies Traynor would only allow that 'the administrators are in open communication with the couple on a constant basis'.

The West Mercia Police civilian officer handling the Challenger Syndicateships case has now gone on annual leave, so BB will let you know what's happening as soon as we can contact him on his return. In the meantime, if Ed or Gill Rimmer reads this, could they get in touch to confirm or deny the various allegations being made about them?

A recent allegation is that one Stealth Hire boat has been sold five times and it would be nice to know the truth.
