'Carbon-neutral' dock calculated

SOUTH WEST: A Plymouth firm of architects is claiming a floating dock designed for Princess Yachts is the first in the world that is guaranteed to be carbon-neutral, writes Katina Read.
The dock was manufactured using Corus’ Colorcoat: Corus claims that every kilo of carbon dioxide which was created in the building will be cancelled out through offsetting schemes.
The company calculates the carbon footprint of the building – which can house four boats each up to 35m – was 213,856.2kg.
