ECBS launches 2008 visitor marketing campaign

The ECBS said the free, personalised card was created to provide subscribers with a range of benefits, including a preferential ticket price, fast-track entry and use of the Privilege club members' lounge.
The card will also be used to promote the 2008 Earls Court Boat Show throughout the year, and to increase numbers of boating enthusiasts visiting the show.
The Beaulieu event saw the ECBS teamed up with eight-times World Class 1 Powerboat Champion, Steve Curtis MBE, who met visitors and promoted the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series with a race boat for visitors to see, as well as confirming his involvement with the London show in November.
"I’m delighted to be working with the Earls Court team and we’ll be putting on an impressive display of powerboats at the London event in November," said Curtis.
"We're focused on delivering a show that attracts visitors of all ages that are either involved in boating or who aspire to be," said ECBS MD James Brooke. "The quality of visitors at the Earls Court Boat Show in 2007 was extremely high, and this year we’ll be increasing the number without diluting the quality. Our new Privilege card gives us the opportunity to attract exactly the sort of visitors that our exhibitors want to meet."
Benefits for Privilege card holders include a range of discounted offers from ECBS partners and exhibitors. The Earls The show Court Boat Show runs from 26 to 30 November 2008 with Whyte & Mackay as the official whisky and Carlsberg as the official larger for the show.
