This will enable marine companies to voice their concerns and discuss relevant marine sector issues with representatives from SEEDA and Marine South East.
Topical issues will be covered with updates on the following:
- SEEDA – update on the marine contribution to the regional economy, PUSH implications for the marine sector and investment in waterfront sites
- An update on a number of marine infrastructure projects within the region - including the GKN Hydrodynamic testing facilities, dry dock capabilities in the Southampton area and shared facilities projects
- Launch of Solent Marine Community capabilities publication and website
- Update on the Schools Marine Challenge project
There will also be a very short (10 minute) AGM after the speakers. The event will take place on Wednesday 14 May at the Royal Southern Yacht Club, Hamble SO31 4HB starting at 15.00 and concluding at 18.00 with a networking drinks reception and canapes. The event is free to all marine companies.
