Located on the southern outskirts of the town Stourport-on-Severn and just below the junction with the Staffs and Worcester Canal, the marina is an ideal mooring for both large river and sea-going cruisers and narrowboats.

It has 140 berths and a range of facilities, including a big slipway capable of handling large cruisers, and also a members' club. Tingdene’s director Ian Collier told us that the company had no immediate plans for the future of the site but would be looking towards bringing it into line with the ‘Four Gold Anchors’ standard of other marinas.

The company already owns Upton Marina some 23 miles further down the river and with its three sites on the Thames, one on the River Wey and another on the Broads, the Stourport acquisition brings Tingdene’s total inland marina ownership up to seven.

Stourport will also be able to benefit from new management with the bonus of continuity: Ross Wills, the new manager, worked at the marina under the previous owners and has over 20 years' experience in the inland waterways industry.
