Three Sunseekers in the new Bond film
06 Oct 2008
A Superhawk 43 plays a lead role in one of the biggest-ever 007 boat chases that was filmed on location in Panama in March 2008. It took three months of preparation and had more than 100 boats in support.
A 37 Metre Yacht M4 also appears in the film, as does one other very special Sunseeker. One of the company's very first open-cockpit speedboats - a Sunseeker Sovereign 17 built in 1970 - is used in a scene filmed in Italy where James Bond is driven by a rather familiar looking helmsman...
'You can't get any higher profile than a James Bond movie,' said Sunseeker MD Robert Braithwaite CBE. 'It's very exciting to be personally involved in the latest 007 release and actually appear alongside Britains most famous secret agent.'
