PSP SBS exhibitor events filling up

This leaves the 40th Boat Show Celebration BBQ/Party on the first Saturday, the 13th. The party runs from 19.00 ‘until late’ in Mayflower Park and has live music from the PSP band Harry Hammersmith and the Flyovers. The first drink’s on National Boat Shows and all are welcome – the more the merrier, says NBS. You can also win £100 bar tab at the Orange Rooms, recent winner of Southampton Best Bar 2008.
The other event with spaces is on the last Friday, the 19th and that’s the ‘Evening on the Island’ trip to Cowes. For £25 you get the return fare on the Red Jet (usually £12 for evening day return); The Anchor Inn; a drink and any meal from the main menu (excludes house steaks - £2 supplement payable); The Pier View – a drink of your choice (excluding cocktails); The Duke of York – a pint of beer or glass of wine; The Union - a pint of beer or glass of wine. And there’s a ‘Mini Pub Quiz’ thrown in…
