Bowman acquires Westerly Group Tony Davies’ Bowman Yachts Ltd acquired the Westerly Group Ltd, creating a £10m a year yacht building business and making Bowman one of the major British manufacturers of sailboats. This was the third boatbuilder Tony Davies had acquired, starting with Southern Boat Building, then Sadler International and now Westerly.
Peter Webb joined BB as advertisement manager; Dennis London joined ACR Electronics as its European sales manager; Paul Sumpner was appointed MD of C-Map UK and Graham Allen was appointed marketing director of Henri-Lloyd. |
