MCI adds chain and rope
Marine Components Inter - national tell us that as well as introducing the new HRC-6 and HRC-8 rope/chain horizontal windlasses, Maxwell Marine Windlasses has been busy improving other models in the range.
Deck mounting has also been improved, giving more flexibility and options. The full range is available from MCI, including the latest Superyacht windlasses capable of handling 32mm stud link chain.
MCI is also a spares and refit centre for Maxwell Marine in Europe, offering support to service yards throughout Europe.
MCI says it is now importing the Kingston range of anchors, bow-rollers and davits from Canada. Kingston anchors carry a lifetime guarantee on most models (galvanised and stainless steel) and the range includes the Quickset high holding power anchor, pictured here.
MCI says this has been tested at significantly higher holding power than its competitors and carries a lifetime guarantee against bending or breakage.
As well as plough and Danforth pattern models, Kingston offers a fisherman style anchor (the Yachtsman, pictured here) based on the original Herreshoff design.
The extensive range of bow rollers include many models that used to be imported by Simpson Lawrence and spare rollers can be obtained for many of these. Their davits are easy to remove or can be swivelled to save on marina fees.
Range brochure and prices available on request.
Finally, to complement MCI's range of Maxwell windlasses and Kingston anchors, the company can supply competitively priced, high quality calibrated chain, tested and certified, in all sizes. MCI also now supplies a range of rope from English Braids at competitive prices.
