Fischer Panda’s new 45i, variable speed 45kva / 36kW set
Following the success of the Panda variable-speed, inverter-based generators, (the 4kW 5000i , the 6kW 8000i and the 12kW 15000i ), the 45i was launched at METS 2010
This extremely compact, quiet and light 45kVa, 36kW generator set won the power category in the prestigious DAME awards.
Fischer Panda variable-speed inverter generators closely match their output with the electrical load by varying the generator engine speed. This means that for the majority of end-user load profiles, exhaust emissions and fuel consumption are considerably lower than an equivalent traditional fixed speed generator.
Additional benefits include a pure sine-wave output with exceptional voltage and frequency stability, lower average sound output and best in class dimensions and weight – the 52db(A) Panda 6kW 8000i is 550mm x 440mm x 530mm and weighs only 111kg.
Another new product is the re-launched Panda 4 Farymann engine based 4kW genset. This has several new design enhancements including super powerful motor-starting capability, clean sine-wave output, simpler installation and reduced maintenance. The sets will be available with direct sea-water and indirect (heat exchanger) cooling.
New watermaking technology from HRO/Sea Recovery includes a Seafari Flexible version which gives a 250mm length saving on existing models and allows for vertical installation of the membrane vessels.
Also new at METS 2010 is the new low-energy Seafari Escape with the Danfoss designed Energy Transfer Device - this watermaker is even more energy efficient and is a cost effective solution for DC and small generator AC applications. A NMEA 2000 interface is now standard on all Sea Recovery Aquamatic and Aqua Whisper models.
The Danfoss water lubricated, radial-axial high pressure pump gives 8000 hours operation without maintenance – this is an option on all 230VAC powered watermakers from HRO and Sea Recovery.
