Distributor’s Update 2011 - EC Smith
EC Smith & Sons is now a marine distributor for Merlin Equipment, which means it now stocks M-Power marine battery chargers, pure sine wave inverters and smart gauges.
The four stage M-Power smart battery charger takes on up to three separate battery banks simultaneously. It has a universal AC input, as well as battery maintenance and recovery modes. The unit is suitable for many battery types and, usefully, has an optional remote operation panel.
The M-Power pure sine wave DC to AC inverter can convert 12V battery power to 230V AC mains electricity, with no compatibility problems. Further, it can be used for audio/visual equipment without interference. There is an auto shutdown to prevent flat batteries, and it is completely protected against overloading, overheating and short circuiting. Optional on/off remote panel.
The M-Power Smart Gauge is the most accurate and easy to use shuntless-design battery monitor currently available. It has a simple three wire connection. It displays battery voltage and percentage remaining for the domestic battery bank and voltage on start battery. It also comes with high/low voltage alarms.
The M-Merlin Smart Bank Split Charging System means zero loss split charging, for 12 or 24V systems, in two or three bank variants: any battery size from 10 to 4,000Ah is catered for. All M-Power products carry a two year warranty and no quibble exchange for faulty goods.
EC Smith & Sons has also been appointed a distributor for Eberspächer Airtronic Air Heaters and Hydronic water heaters.
