Marine & Industrial is the nationwide distributor of brand name adhesive, sealant and coatings featuring products from West System, Sika, ITW Plexus, Seajet, 3M, Arbo, with more developments for 2009.
This product is an acoustic insulation that decreases noise and improves thermal efficiency with minimal additional weight, suitable for all vessels from narrowboats and barges to luxury yachts.
It gives superior thermal and acoustic insulating performance, it is hydrophobic - does not support mould or mildew growth - and has less chance of developing odours. Thinsulate is also extremely lightweight and easy to install.
Seajet Paints continues its market share growth with the launch of Platinum antifoul which is Seajet’s top of the range performer - a highly advanced, multi-season, self-polishing anti-foul designed to perform well in a wide range of sea areas and water temperatures, including Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, where fouling is often found to be at its very worst.
039 Platinum, therefore, can be regarded as an ideal ‘blue water’ cruising product and provided sufficient coatings are applied from the outset can work for up to three seasons, as it has a self-polishing co-polymer makeup that allows a carefully controlled release of biocide. As a result, Seajet Platinum is perfectly suited to yachts and motor boats wishing to cruise for extended periods of time in a range of different sea areas - where often even finding a boatyard able to haul out a vessel, for maintenance and a potential re-application of anti-fouling, can be a difficult, costly and inconvenient proposition.
The product is supplied as a two-part mixable product in 2.0litre tins, and comes in a choice of four solid colours: Mid-Blue, Navy, Red & Black.
Galtec Marine Clean products are new to the Marine & Industrial range and feature high quality cost effective products such as Bilge Cleaner, Slicksol Degreaser, Suresan Sanitizer, Toilet Cleaner & Descaler, Premium Boat Wash and Dextra Hand Cleaner.
Marine & Industrial has also launched a cleaner called Onceover, a high performance easy to use multi-surface cleaner for the removal of diesel marks, waterline staining, yellowing of surfaces and rust stains. Sample bottles are available.
