This will be Jeckells the Sailmakers 180th year. To celebrate, a stylish limited edition anniversary jacket will be available at the London Boat Show – a must have for any enthusiast looking to commemorate a piece of history.
Also at the show, MD Chris Jeckells, the great, great, great, great grandson of the founder of Jeckells the Sailmakers who started the company in 1832, will be talking on the history and the science behind sails in a special one-off presentation, at 16:55 on Tuesday 10 January as part of the Knowledge Box.
As possibly the oldest international sail designer and manufacturer in the business, Jeckells is well placed to offer insider advice, whether for a classic sailing yacht or a performance cruising boat.
For visitors who are unable to make the special one-off session but still have a sails question they would like answered, a team of experts will be on hand throughout the show on the company’s stand.
