Scanstrut’ s Scanpod – Deck Pod – lets boat owners install a range of universal pods to install displays onto a powerboat, commercial vessel, RIB or sailboat wheelhouse.
There’s a range of Scanpod models to fit 8”, 10”, 12” and 15” displays with options to install additional instruments at the helm. The universal fit to 9.5” and 12” centre pedestal guards makes for very easy product selection and a multiple point seal ensures full instrument protection. Made from a high tear strength silicone, it has a high resistance to heat and UV.
Scanpods are supplied uncut, which avoids stockists having to stock a wide range of product.
Deep and shallow models ensuring the best fit for different sized electronics and guarantees a Pod is as small as possible.
A complete fixing kit is supplied and fixing holes are pre-drilled. Tamperproof security screws are supplied that can only be opened by the tool provided in the kit. The screws fit into threaded inserts, so there’s no need to self tap into plastic and the thread stays 100% perfect.
Scanpods are available in two high gloss colours – new silver or traditional white. They’re made from acrylic capped ABS plastic – tough, corrosion free and UV stable.
