Building on the success of Bainbridge’s own Sailing Gloves, D-Type Anchors and Storm Hatches, the new range of bags made from Bainbridge sailcloth have been well received.
Affordable, durable and waterproof, the new barrel bags are available in three different sizes and feature original polyester insignia sail numbers.
Complementing Bainbridge’s own range of bags is the new range from OverBoard. Launched at the beginning of the year, OverBoard manufactures a wide variety of waterproof bags and accessories to store and protect valuables from water, dust, dirt and sand. Products include backpacks, messenger bags and duffel bags, all available in a variety of colours and sizes. In addition to the bags, OverBoard also manufactures a selection of high quality cases designed specifically for protecting your phone, camera, VHF radio, video console and MP3 player.
Also new to Bainbridge for 2011 was the complete range of compasses from Ritchie. Designed to suit all types of vessels from sailing boats and motorboats to superyachts, fishing boats and kayaks, Ritchie compasses are available in a variety of different mounting styles including dash, bulkhead, bracket, flush and binnacle mount. Custom covers are also available to suit each individual style and most compasses come complete with a green nightlight option for clear visibility at night.
The biggest venture for Bainbridge in 2010 was the introduction of books. With hundreds of books spanning 25 categories including, navigation, cruising, biography, electronics and watersports, it really is a comprehensive selection which has expanded in 2011 and now includes the complete range of 2012 Aberdeen Asset Management Almanacs.
