Sales of the award-winning In-Duct Breathe Easy Air Purifier have almost tripled since 2010, and Dometic’s introduction of the Portable Breathe Easy this year has meant smaller boats have also benefited from healthier, odourless air.
Dometic has also launched the DuraSea Rooftop Air Conditioner (A/C) which features integrated Breathe Easy air-purification technology and a revolutionary ElectroFin E-Coat process that protects the system’s components. Like the In-Duct Breathe Easy, it uses R410A environmentally-safe refrigerant that has recently been incorporated into several other air conditioning products, such as the Emerald Split Series, which improves noise levels and energy efficiency.
Among this year’s other new products is the WhisperFan Controller that provides an easy and economical solution to noisy AC-motor-driven fans, and the innovative Bypassable Variable Frequency Drive that is set to offer unique and extensive benefits to builders and owners.
Launched at the PSP Southampton Boat Show, the Dometic SMEV CU433 Moonlight Cooker has been well received by the market. With mirror-smooth heat-resistant and tempered glass, which reflects the blue burner flames, the appropriately named Moonlight Cooker is a stylish addition to any galley and suitable for professional retrofit or DIY installation.
