Distributor’s Update 2011 - Marineware
Marineware Ltd of Southampton is the UK distributor for both Awlgrip Yacht Coatings and the International Yacht Paint Pro range of antifouls, interior coatings and protective finishes.
In addition Marineware distribute SP Gurit High Modulus Epoxies, composites and core materials, epifanes paints and varnishes, Saba adhesives and sealants, Nautix underwater coatings, Durepox Raceboat finishes, 3M and De Vilbiss spray equipment.
Marineware have noticed a pronounced increase in the demand for special finish coatings and to this end Awlgrip have launched a new range of easy to apply special effect metallic and pearlescent coatings called Awlcraft SE. Marineware technical sales representatives are currently offering demonstrations and seminars to interested customers.
Despite reduced attendance at Southampton Boat Show, Marineware general manager Adrian Layton reported the company's presence at the show was "highly encouraging with quotes and enquiries well up on previous years".
