The world’s biggest watersports trade fair is to increase its exhibition space with a new Beach World attraction.
boot Düsseldorf’s beach zone will include The Wave technology and a 65m activity pool.
“boot has everything on show that water sports enthusiasts want to see. It is the international trendsetter in the industry and will have exciting new attractions in 2018 too,” explained Düsseldorf director, Matthias Dornscheidt.
The event, from January 20 to 28, will feature stand-up paddling (SUP) with new foilboards that enable users to skim across the water very fast.
The recreational diving hall will have a diving base demonstrating how a pool and tower dive is prepared professionally.
Other attractions include a 90m long paddling river and sailing school pool with wind machines.
A refit centre will be on hand to provide advice about the restoration and renovation of second-hand boats.
Boat premieres will include yachts up 70ft long and the focus of boot INTERIOR is on the interior design of luxury yachts.
Superyacht speakers will include yacht designer André Hoek, the Captain of the Kamalaya Christoph Schäfer and Hans-Georg Schnauffer, head of the Institute for Maritime Logistics at Harburg Technical University.
Numerous suppliers of pleasure craft, tow boats fast, streamlined tenders and fast tow-in motor boats will also be present.
