Scanstrut has celebrated its 30th anniversary with the release of multiple new products and updates to its digital marketing services.

Two of the products have received DAME Award 2016 nominations, firstly the ROKK Mini Suction Cup which is a robust and adjustable mounting system for smart phones, tablets, fish finders and cameras.

It is engineered for longer lasting grip and fits to any ridged, clean, non-textured surface. It’s metal-on-metal locking force was recognised with a Special Mention at the awards.

“It’s fantastic to be continually innovating and building on our product range, while responding to new trends in marine electronics and market demands,” said Tom Reed, Scanstrut’s managing director.

He continued: “We saw an increasing trend towards personal electronics coming. So we launched a new multi-adjustable mount which supports more than 100 electronic devices. The response so far is extremely positive.”

The other award which nominated at the DAME Awards this year was Scanstrut’s waterproof USB charge socket to go with its mount system. The ROKK Charge + can have 0, 1 and 2 cables connected and can charge up to three times faster than standard USB sockets.

Scanstrut also released a new Universal Self-Drill Top Plate which suits a wide range of marine displays. The universal design fits the latest screens from Raymarine, Garmin, Hummingbird and B&G.

Its new Horizontal Cable Seal has a sleek, low-profile design with a 90 degree exit to allow cable to run horizontal to deck. It is an addition to the Scanstrut Deck Seal range, used by boat builders.

Two new four-degree Base Wedges were also released from Scanstrut, they keep the radar in line with the horizon when a boat is underway.

The new Aluminium Power Tower for Garmin Fantom Open Ray was the final new product from Scanstrut. It was designed to install your antenna on the cabin roof, flybridge or radar arch of a powerboat, providing a clear view of the horizon for maximum antenna performance.
