Quick will displaying the latest version of its MC2 X gyro stabiliser that integrates fully into onboard systems at this year’s Seawork.

Designed to be simple to use, operate and install MC2X has ‘changed the game for onboard stabilisation’ explained Quick UK representative Andy Sims.

Alongside the gyros will be Quick’s thruster range with tunnels currently up to 530mm diameter and with DC, AC, hydraulic and brushless power options providing for many eventualities.

Also on the stand will be hydraulic power plants, chargers, inverters and a large range of lighting.

“Quick at its heart is an engineering company, they make the products that you see,” explained Andy.

“It’s a leader - both in Italy where the company is based and also worldwide - in the production of nautical equipment for both commercial and leisure-based boats.”

Quick’s main product range includes windlasses, thrusters, battery chargers, inverters, water heaters, gyro stabilizers and LED lighting.

The company’s facility is spread over 19,200 m2 of covered area, with state of the art production engineering employed.

“The facility enables the design, engineering, assembly and testing to be carried out in-house,” explained Andy. “This operating structure allows Quick to control the quality of products, to respond to customers’ needs, to create and develop new products and above all to boast ‘made in Italy’ excellence.

Progress

“They are a ‘can do’ company with ISO9001 certification.”

He added: “Exhibiting at Seawork 2017 opened a large number of opportunities for us and it is important to continue that progress.

“Our stand generated a huge amount of interest; this coming Seawork 2018 will help to vastly expanded our presence in this market. We believe Seawork is a key exhibition in Europe and we see the strength and importance of this, which is key to our plans in the region.”
