Variable capacity technology is in demand
Dometic will show the latest variable speed chiller technology, titanium condensers, chilled water and air-cooled units at Seawork 2018.
With variable capacity technology in demand from customers Dometic has developed its VARC variable capacity chiller that adjusts capacity output based on the current load demand.
It is now available in two models, the VARC48 and VARC7, designed to provide the right amount of necessary cooling or heating, reducing energy consumption and harsh in-rush currents to the boat’s generator.
The Dometic stand at Seawork will also feature its high-capacity reverse-osmosis Sea Xchange watermaker range, including the combination XZ Series, the XTC Series with mechanical redundancy and SXII Series of seawater systems.
The Dometic XZ system enables operators to automatically purify both seawater and freshwater with a single, compact machine.
The one-touch fully-automatic system combines the benefits of an on-board Sea Xchange watermaker and a Spot Zero freshwater reverse-osmosis purification system.
Dometic will also show the latest addition to its range of CFX Series compressor coolers.
The heavy-duty CoolFreeze CFX 75DZW mobile compressor unit is a 70-litre capacity cooler and freezer offering flexible cooling and deep-freezing options.
It has two temperature zones with their own digital displays, one of 43-litre capacity and one of 27 litres, so users can choose to have a fridge and a freezer, or two fridges or two freezers.
Dometic has also introduced new Cool-Ice CI icebox models. The newly-designed, non-powered iceboxes, from the company’s heavy-duty series, range in size from the 43-litre capacity Cool-Ice CI 42 up to the 111-litre Cool-Ice CI 110.
Dometic will be on stand PG131
