All change at the top at Chemring
Robert Hill: chairman of Chemring Marine and MD of Chemring EOD
Chemring Marine underwent a bit of a shuffle around in June, with Robert Hill and Justine Heeley taking on new jobs and responsibilities.
ALL CHANGE: Chemring Marine has a new chairman and managing director, with both Robert Hill and Justine Heeley getting new jobs and new responsibilities from June 1.
Mr Hill moved from managing director to chairman of Chemring Marine and also adds another role to his Chemring job portfolio as he assumes the position of managing director of Chemring EOD Ltd.
At the same time, Justine Heeley steps up from sales director to become managing director of Chemring Marine, overseeing the company’s manufacture of the Pains Wessex and Comet brands of marine distress signals. She has more than a decade of experience at Chemring Marine, moving from international sales manager and manager for Asia and southern Europe to become sales director in January 2009.
In addition to being chairman of Chemring Marine, Mr Hill’s new role as MD of Chemring EOD will see him in charge of the company that designs, manufactures and supplies products worldwide to the defence, security and police markets for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), improvised explosive device disposal, unexploded ordnance and search, special forces and tactical sectors.
