Andy Williams to leave Princess Yachts
Andy Williams will leave at the end of November
STEPPING DOWN: Princess Yachts issued a statement yesterday regretting that Andrew Williams will be stepping down from the board at Princess Yachts by mutual agreement. He will leave at the end of November.
Princess says Mr Williams’ departure is an amicable one for reasons understood by all involved and Chris Gates, MD of Princess, thanked Mr Williams for his efforts during his time with the company.
“Andy has made a committed and significant contribution to the company and this is evident in his desire to complete a number of key projects prior to his departure at the end of his notice period,” said Mr Gates. “He has been a great asset during his time with us and we wish him well in his future career.”
“Princess has great products and I have worked with some very talented people here in Plymouth and within the wider distributor network,” said Mr Williams. “The company is perfectly placed to continue its growth and I will always be an admirer of its products, people and achievements.”
Mr Williams went on to say he had always harboured a desire to strike out on his own in business and feels that now is the right time to do so.
