Battleships grows up

Not content with a bit of paper with hand drawn squares, Nauticalia has brought the age-old game of Battleships right up to date.
Springs and neaps are catered for with shading on the calendar, with extra high tides shown in darker tints.
The aim of the game is still the same - to destroy your opponent's fleet using a combination of strategy and luck. The aural noises that carried so much anger or dismay as a child have been taken over by electronic explosions and splashes. Designed for ages eight upwards, the game measures 20 x 9.5" and uses four AA batteries. The retail price is £19.95.
