Efficiency and new battery technology from Dometic
Dometic has introduced a new lithium ion battery pack and a new range of inverters and chargers aimed at delivering demands in electrical systems for efficiency and new battery technology.
The BP124 battery pack has an output voltage of 24V and a charging voltage of 29.4V. Charging takes around five hours, with an LED battery charge level display. The battery pack weighs 2.5kg and measures 200 x 150 x 65mm.
Dometic also has a new range of inverters, incorporating its SinePower DSP and SinePower DSP-T. The inverters have a new stand-by mode and generate a pure sine wave voltage suitable for sensitive 230-volt devices.
SinePower DSP inverters are available in a 12 and 24V version in six performance categories with continuous output ratings from 150 to 2000 watts.
The DSP models of 600 watts and above have an energy saving standby mode and smart remote control.
A smart standby mode on the DSP-T premium series is activated when no or very little energy is consumed, reducing the energy consumption to 0.2 amps.
There is also a battery protection mode in which the inverter turns off completely after time in standby, protecting the battery.
The series is available in four model versions from 1300 to 3500 watts, each for 12 to 24 volts.
The new DC charging converters have been developed to provide optimal battery charging. The PerfectPower DCC series has advanced IUOU-charging technology and are available in eight models.
