New entry level battery monitor shows real-time battery health
The PICOone is Simarine’s new entry level battery monitor available from Kuranda.
The unit shows real-time battery health and how much power is being used by items such as lights or instruments.
It also shows the power generated by products such as solar panels.
“Coupled with a compatible SC302T combo shut, the Pico One is a perfect battery monitoring system for boats and caravans with one service battery bank up to 300amps,” explained Darren Griffiths, Kuranda general manager.
“The monitor is water and dust proof and can be mounted inside or out.”
And he explained how the screen can be adjusted with a light sensor for dimmer or brighter conditions.
A baragraph provides air-pressure readings, trends and history.
In addition, apps are available to connect the monitor to a smartphone allowing users to monitor battery and tank data.
