Navionics acquires Wavey Line Charts
Navionics has acquired longstanding data partner Wavey Line Charts for an undisclosed sum.
Wavey Line chart coverage provides pilotage notes and course lines around the Caribbean in addition to updated bathymetric and depth information for some of the most difficult approaches in the southern islands.
And Navionics investing very heavily in surveys of Bahamas with conventional methods as well as with airborne laser and crowd sourcing, resulting in one of the best electronic charts for the region.
The companies say there is no upper limit to quality which is why they have decided to merge their data and expertise to produce the best possible charts of the region.
