New Simrad Yachting navigation system
Simrad Yachting has launched its NSO evo3 navigation system for larger cruising and sportfishing boats.
NSO evo3’s design simplifies installation, while maximising power and flexibility.
“We are excited to bring new NSO evo3 integrated displays to boaters around the globe,” said Leif Ottosson, CEO of Navico, Simrad Yachting’s owner. “From the new design and the brightest screens to the most powerful processor and advanced networking capabilities, the NSO evo3 is the perfect starting point for customizing a vessel-wide system.”
The system includes a high-definition display (1920 x 1080) powered by a iMX6 quad-core processor.
Its touchscreen interface can be viewed from any angle and supports up to a six-panel, split-screen layout.
The system is available in 16, 19 and 24-inch integrated displays.
The NSO evo3 can connect to smartphones, tablets and internet hotspots with integrated wireless connectivity, features advanced networking – including HMDI input/output, OP50 support, plus direct connection and control of audio, autopilot and NMEA 2000 and J1939 engines.
The low-profile glass bridge styling of NSO evo3 is designed to complement any helm design and allows users to create custom helm layouts to suit any activity.
